all coffee | coffee beans | ground coffee | nespresso pods
Real ground coffee in a tea-bag format. Drop one in a mug, pour over hot water, wait two to four minutes. No machine, no mess. British-roasted, military-grade strong.
Coffee brew bags built for strength
Coffee bags work exactly like a tea bag, except the bag is filled with proper ground coffee instead of tea. Drop one in your mug, add boiling water, steep for two to four minutes, squeeze and remove. You get a genuine cup of freshly brewed coffee with no machine, no grinder, no cafetiere and no cleanup. These are not instant coffee. Every bag in this collection contains the same UK-roasted coffee we sell as beans and ground, portioned into a biodegradable filter and individually wrapped to seal in freshness.
We built our coffee brew bags for people who need strong coffee in places where brewing kit does not exist: early shifts, wild camps, hotel rooms, offshore rotations and deployments. If you want the best coffee bags UK roasters can offer without paying supermarket prices for supermarket strength, this is the range.
Choose your blend
Red On is our strongest option: a single origin 100% Robusta from the Badra Estate in South West India, delivering 1,293mg of caffeine per 12fl oz brewed. It scores 5 out of 5 on our coffee strength scale and is the strongest coffee bag we have seen on sale in the UK. Start with the Red On 10-pack if you want to test it before committing.
Battle Prep is the daily driver: a full-bodied blend of coffees from Brazil and Latin America with powerful notes of liquorice and cocoa. Strong enough to wake you up, smooth enough to drink three times a day.
Both blends come in 10-bag boxes at £6.99 for first-timers, a 60-bag mixed bundle at £37.99, and 100-bag resupply boxes at £52.99 for the best price per cup.
Why these beat supermarket coffee bags
Supermarket coffee bags are roasted months before they reach the shelf and packed loose, so the coffee is stale before you brew it. Ours are roasted in the UK, packed fresh, and each 8g bag is individually sealed, so the last bag in the box tastes like the first. The filter material is biodegradable, so a used bag goes in the food waste, not landfill. And every order supports a veteran-owned British business rather than a multinational.
How to brew one
Put the bag in your mug, pour over 250ml of freshly boiled water, and steep for two minutes for a medium cup or four for a strong one. Give it a stir, squeeze the bag against the side of the mug, and bin it. One bag makes one strong mug. In a flask, seal the bag in with the water for four to five minutes and the coffee stays hot for hours.
Real coffee for camping, work and deployment
A box of brew bags weighs next to nothing and needs only hot water, which is why they have become standard kit for hikers, military personnel, emergency services and anyone stuck with bad office coffee. If you brew outdoors, our guide to camping with coffee covers the setups that work in the field.
