This is my favourite of all coffees I’ve tasted this far.
It’s the perfect bean to grind for the perfect Espresso pick me up & pre Training Tipple. I have it as a double and it helps me ‘Fight Through’ full of flavour and the aroma is ‘Bang On’ great packaging and the beans are fresh unlike the rubbish you buy in a super market. The smell when you open the packet is just perfect and the packaging of the product just pure brilliance!!
I will be buying more…rest assured!!!

When I've read Red On! reviews I was so hyped to try it, bought all 4 blends, tried Shots Fired first and really liked it, it mixes well with milk and can be drank on it's own, easy to make really good tasting coffee at home, and you can brew it with any method and it would taste decent.
However I then tried Battle Prep and got disappointed, and I then tried Red On thinking it will be better, as Shots Fired was great. However Red On wasn't any better than Battle Prep, they were both bland and quite tasteless, don't mix with milk at all. Drinking on it's own wasn't very pleasant as well as it was quite watery and acidic.
I'm not sure if I did it wrong. I got grinded coffee and grind was quite big. I usually make coffee in moka pot. However coarse grind is not ideal for it, even though Shots Fired worked well in moka pot and was same grind.
As it's a very coarse grind, I tried it in French Press and pour over, wasn't much better. Still came watery and acidic. The best was just pour over without milk.

I’ve been self medicating with this stuff since it first appeared ... it has given a whole new depth to me being espressoed up.. Popeyes had spinach Asterix had his magic potion I’ve got this stuff, it’s proper good from Aero-Press, Cafetière or as a drip brew just get the grind right... my favourite though has to be Espresso

A few years ago recovering from a seriously broken ankle I came across the Facebook Group “Gone Tabbing”.
Having been a clerk in the TA 25 years ago, the thought of Tabbing was, to be frank, somewhat daunting. But a mate nudged me forward and the whole experience has been life changing. I’m fitter both physically and mentally than I have been in years, and met some fantastic people, done some amazing things I never thought at my age I’d be capable of, and made some true friends.
One of whom, whilst we had taken a quick break from the sideways rain in a forest, handed me a sachet of coffee to add to the water boiling away in my Jetboil: Red On in a bag! I can’t recall the last time I enjoyed such a damn fine cup of coffee, especially in the field.
I enjoyed it so much I kept the packet so I could look up the supplier when I got home.
So I found Contact Coffee on line and ordered a few boxes of Red On for my outdoor jollies.
But wait! There’s more!
My wife suggested getting the beans and grinding my own coffee, and seeing as how my nervous system refuses to function without coffee in the morning, like a demanding toddler, but, because I can’t be bothered with all that faffage it seemed like a good idea to get a machine that not only brewed coffee but ground the beans for me.
Fate? Synchronicity? Luck? Whatever but the email offering membership of the Contact Coffee Club popped into my inbox the next day.
The machine provides the first pot of the day, the Camekbak sorts my continued hit if I’m in the car or on a short hike or tab, the slim cup fits perfectly in the tank bag of my motorcycle, and for longer jaunts the flask filled with boiling water serves me well if people object to me sparking up the jetboil in their front room, so I’ve got my coffee sorted for all situations, occasions and weathers.

Bloody hell gent's! After years of shift work and consuming gallons of gash coffee (range bombs and cook house/ police station brews) I have pretty much become inured to coffee. Its more a habit now than anything else. Until this morning when I brewed up my first batch of Red on. Smells great, tastes even better, then it hit. Its been a fair few years since I've had a buzz from a brew let alone the caffiene sledgehammer that is Red On. Gen kick with a fantastic taste. Well done troops.

Amazing coffee. From the moment you open the bag, the smell fires up the old gray matter. Dropped in the old aeropress and minutes later a steaming mug of heaven is presented. Suitable pre-workout, surviving the nightshift or just to enjoy a highly caffeinated hit to start the day. Smooth tasting and (just like napalm) smells like victory. I thought Black Ops was subtle, but Red On takes to a whole new level. The aroma is key, it lulls you into that false sense of security, There is no bitter aftertaste with this blend either, this is one smooth coffee, which packs the punch of a Javelin.
