Update, 1 September 2026: Number One in Food and Beverage by Estimated Revenue

In its last seven days view on 31 August 2026, Kalodata, the third party analytics platform that tracks TikTok Shop sales, ranked Coffee Resupply the number one Food and Beverage product on TikTok Shop UK by estimated revenue, ahead of every other food and drink listing on the platform for the week, with a 4.9 out of 5 buyer rating. Over the last 30 days in the same view it ranked number two in the category, behind only a protein bar multipack.

Our own checklist further down asks three things of any ranking claim: the level of the category tree, the time window, and where the number can be seen. This one sits at the top level of the tree (Food and Beverage), covers stated windows (Kalodata's last seven days and last 30 days, read on 31 August 2026), and is a third party estimate from Kalodata rather than a first party TikTok publication, which is why we label it an estimate and keep TikTok's own July chart below as the first party record. Read together they tell one story from two directions: TikTok's chart placed the tin at #4 in Food and Beverage in July, and by the end of August the independent estimate had it at #1 for the week and #2 for the month.

The week became a month. In Kalodata's standard last 30 days view, covering 9 August to 7 September 2026 and read on 8 September, Coffee Resupply ranks number one by estimated revenue across the entire Food and Beverages category on TikTok Shop UK, ahead of a Protein Works meal replacement pack at number two and a DoughGirl bakery box at number three. The same view ranks it number one in the Drinks category, ahead of the Protein Works pack and a HIGH5 hydration multipack. Because every coffee product on the platform sits inside Drinks, that also makes it the top selling coffee product on TikTok Shop UK for the full 30 day window, by the same estimate.

Run the checklist on it: top level of the category tree (Food and Beverages, with Drinks the level below), a stated 30 day window with dates, and a named source read on a stated date, labelled as a third party estimate because that is what it is. On 31 August the tin held number one for a week and number two for the month; a week later it holds number one for the month. That is the difference between a spike and a run, and it is the reason we publish the dated history rather than a badge.

The #4 position is the one worth pausing on. The Food and Beverage Master Category is not a coffee chart. It covers every food and drink product sold on TikTok Shop UK: snacks, confectionery, hampers, supplements in food form, soft drinks, everything. Ranking fourth there means Coffee Resupply outsold all but three products across the whole of UK food and drink on the platform that week, while continuing to climb. The #1 Coffee position, held for another consecutive week, makes it the platform's best selling coffee product outright. One point of scope, stated plainly because precision is the whole value of publishing numbers like these. This is a TikTok Shop UK ranking, not a claim about every coffee sold in Britain. Supermarket shelves and Amazon run on their own charts. What this ranking does measure is the single fastest growing sales channel in UK retail, judged on real transactions, and on that channel Coffee Resupply is the coffee product to beat.

Where the Numbers Come From

The July positions are not estimates from a third party analytics tool. TikTok Shop publishes best seller rankings inside its Seller Centre, in a dashboard called Compass, and the positions are determined by product sales generated from shoppable videos. Sellers can view the rankings at Master Category level or drill into individual subcategories, which is exactly how the three positions above line up: one product, three levels of the same official category tree, all for the same seven day window.

Because the data is first party, it is also honest in a way league tables often are not. The rankings refresh weekly and positions move. Coffee Resupply climbed two places in Food and Beverage and three places in Drink to reach these positions, and holding them will take the same work that earned them. We will keep publishing the numbers either way, because a ranking you only report when it flatters you is not a credential, it is marketing.

Why Food and Beverage on TikTok Shop Matters

Food and drink has quietly become one of the most competitive spaces in UK social commerce, which makes a top four position there mean considerably more than it would have two years ago. Three independent data points set the scale.

First, the purchase volume. According to reporting by The Grocer, one FMCG product was sold every second on TikTok Shop UK in 2025. FMCG means fast moving consumer goods, the industry term for everyday products like food, drink and toiletries. That is the arena the Food and Beverage Master Category sits inside.

Second, the category's trajectory. In TikTok's own UK Black Friday forecast, the platform reported that its Food and Beverage category grew by 55% over the last Black Friday period, doubling sales and becoming its top FMCG category. Food and drink is no longer a niche corner of TikTok Shop. It is the fastest rising part of it.

Third, the market's direction. Research by Retail Economics, produced in partnership with TikTok, projects UK social commerce sales to more than double from 7.4 billion pounds in 2024 to 15.7 billion pounds by 2028, growing at roughly four times the rate of overall ecommerce. TikTok's summary of the same report rounds that to almost 16 billion pounds. Whichever figure you prefer, the channel Coffee Resupply is winning in is the fastest growing sales channel in UK retail. Best seller claims are easy to make and hard to check, so here is the checklist we would apply to anyone else's, including ours. First, ask what level of the category tree the claim sits at. A #1 in a narrow subcategory is a far smaller achievement than a top five in a Master Category, because the subcategory might contain a few dozen products while the Master Category contains the entire food and drink catalogue. Second, ask for the time window. TikTok Shop rankings cover defined weekly periods, so a credible claim carries a date range the way this one carries 16 to 22 July 2026.
